    6th June

It was all a bit topsy-turvy today (to the point that we forgot to sing the Teddy Bears’ Picnic song and dance the Hokey Tokey as promised!) but the sun shone happily and it was lovely to bring all the children outside in the fresh air.  We couldn’t find the parachute (see earlier notes on topsy-turvy)  but it seemed that the teddy bears and baby dolls didn’t mind sitting on picnic blankets or exploring the new castle tent while their friends ran about on the playground and read stories in the shade.  For snack we had teddy grahams, gummy bears and marshmallows – all a bit decadent, but then again it was our last Friday gathering before the summer.

We sadly farewell regulars Little Miss G, Little Miss N, and Little Mr C (who wasn’t there today) who are off to new adventures at pre-school in September.  Please visit us and let us know how things are going.

Today’s the day the teddy bears have their picnic!
